Women have a closet-full of options when it comes to clothing. So, sometimes it’s hard for a chick to roll all her favorites into one fly look, but our girl Katie seems to get the trick: it’s all in the textures and colors. She keeps it classy-in-black on bottom, and adds just a touch of personal funk with a raised-pattern skirt.  But for some color, she splashes on the oversized red scarf and vintage royal blue cardigan.  The key is to build a look from a black slate, so you’ll never look like a rainbow (with too much color) and certainly never fall flat (with no texture).
