Listen Up! – Phoenix

There are some bands who just have the sound of pop greatness. Today we recognize (and maybe introduce you to) one of those bands – Phoenix. Yes, they’ve been around for a while, but their latest single ‘Lisztomania’ has been tearin’ up airwaves around the world for just over a month now.  We learned about the French pop/rock group through our homegirl Andrea, who’s got a pretty good ear for music (she is the Music Editor for dope French magazine Dirrty Glam after all…) and it’s been our latest summer hit. Many of their jams are playfully upbeat, and their past videos (like 1901- shot in front if an Iphoto theme of the Eiffel Tower) can be pretty, well, playful too.  Their latest album ‘Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’ is slowly rising the American charts…so yes, they are about to BLOW UP!  Oh, and did we mention they love style as much as us – lead singer Thomas Mars rocks homemade Indian moccasins HARD.
